This Privacy Policy describes how the Praising Jesus mobile application ("the App") handles information when you use it. By installing and using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
The App is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
The Memory Verse Challenge uses your device's microphone to listen while you recite Scripture aloud. The audio is processed by the Android system speech recognizer (typically Google Speech Services) and converted to text. The App receives only the recognized text — never the raw audio — and uses it solely to compare your spoken words to the target verse on your device. No audio recordings are stored or transmitted by the App.
Note: depending on your device settings, the system speech recognizer may send audio to Google or your device manufacturer for processing. Please review your phone's voice settings if you wish to change this behavior.
The App displays advertising banners through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information for ad personalization and measurement, such as:
This data is collected by Google, not by us. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time in your device settings, or opt out of personalized ads in Settings → Google → Ads.
The App requires internet access for the following:
Cached audio files for spoken praises are bundled with the App and play offline.
The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
